PPG Architectural Coatings EMEA was created in 2008 through the acquisition of SigmaKalon Group, a worldwide coatings producer based in Uithoorn, Netherlands, from global private investment firm Bain Capital. 

Our profile
Architectural Coatings EMEA is the 2nd largest supplier of architectural coatings and sundry products in Europe. We sell decorative coatings to professional painters via a network of more than 500 owned service centres and over 3.000 independent wholesalers that give us a direct relationship with our customers.

We have a portfolio of leading brands in both the professional and consumer sectors. Managed by our local architectural operations and covering different countries and market segments, these brands offer a range of formulas for diverse technical and aesthetic challenges. For example Sigma Coatings, Seigneurie, Johnstone's, Dekoral, Trilak, Primalex and Prominent are professional market-leading brands in their respective markets.
