Atkins’ Aerospace division has been delivering high-quality aerospace engineering solutions to its clients for over ten years. We offer broad capability, extensive experience and technical excellence to leading aerospace manufacturers such as Airbus and Rolls-Royce.

Our broad approach centres on listening and understanding our clients’ requirements then drawing on specialist skills from across our offices in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and India, to provide tailored solutions, on time and to budget. We specialise in delivering whole work packages, thereby helping our clients to manage complex programmes and manage risk.

Technical excellence
Atkins offers its clients broad aerospace engineering capability and extensive experience. Employing over 350 qualified aerospace engineers and accredited to AS9100 Rev B, we are dedicated to providing consistently high-quality aerospace engineering solutions.

Our commitment to technical excellence extends to ensuring we are at the forefront of the latest aerospace engineering developments. We are currently working on a range of advanced carbon fibre reinforced plastics research programmes and have extensive experience of working on composite-rich aircraft development programmes.

Atkins specialises in delivering total solutions on fixed price packages of work. Through effective project management and efficient use of our international resources, we help our clients to manage and deliver complex programmes, and minimise their risk.

Atkins has a number of dedicated aerospace locations around the world, allowing us to utilise the optimal experience, capability and resource required to deliver projects, while simultaneously ensuring we maintain close proximity to our clients.

Our engineers work in an integrated manner across our offices, all of which are made up of our own permanent staff. This means that whichever corner of the globe the engineers on your project are working from, the quality and service you receive, and your local Atkins contact, remain the same.

- We supply high-quality engineering solutions to the world's leading aircraft manufacturers with whom we build long-term partnerships;
- We specialise in providing complete program and technical ownership on fully fixed-price projects;
- We have a strong track record, working on leading aircraft development programs including the Airbus A380, A330/340, A400M and A350, the Joint Strike Fighter and Fokker aircraft;
- Our capability covers design and stress analysis (including CAD and CAE), composite methods development, and manufacturing and systems engineering;
- Core skills in Structures, Aero Engines, Mechanisms & Kinematics, Air & Fluid Systems, Integration, Manufacturing Engineering;
- We are service providers, not manufacturers;
- Atkins B.V. is one of Atkins six aerospace offices, covering the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and including and embedded, permanent staff offshore capability in Bangalore, India.
